No responses to GW letter.. so I sent GW e-mails.

The power of google is amazing. I wonder if they get e-mails all the time from crazy obsessive credit-rebuilders like myself. I just sent an e-mail to the President and Chief Executive Officer of Asset Acceptance LLC and the Executive Vice President and President of Retail Credit Services of WFNNB (Alliance Data Systems Corporation).

I would hope that they atleast praise my efforts in hunting them down successfully?

I will update when I get an answer... which, hopefully will be soon!!

Re: No responses to GW letter.. so I sent GW e-mails.

I recently sent out a TON of GW emails to various people throughout my credit companies. The power of Google is amazing! I even received a few replies from people, whom were very nice but asked "how did you get my email address?" I ignored that question but profusely thanks them for any help they could provide. I wondered the same thing about whether they get crazy GW emails all the time Smiley Happy

I had a good response from WFNNB when I called and pleaded for GW.  They removed lates, and reopened an old card.  I think I got the number from the back door list.  I have read other posts about folks having good luck with them to.    Good luck.

Re: No responses to GW letter.. so I sent GW e-mails.

I received a letter in the mail from WFNNB in response to my GW email sent to the CEO:

Thank you for your inquiry concerning the above noted account. World Financial Network National Bank (WFNNB) issues Victoria's Secret credit card accounts and we respond to all credit-related inquiries. Your letter addressed to Ivan Szeftel was forwarded to my attention and I appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns.

We apologize for any confusion regarding the ownership of the Victoria's Secret credit card account. Please be advised that the account was sold to Asset Acceptance on December 16, 2008. We encourage you to contact Asset Acceptance using the information below.

Yada yada yada

The three national-credit reporting agencies have been notified to remove WFNNB's reporting of the account from your credit bureau report. Please allow 45 business days for them to remove them to update their records.

We apologize for any frustration this situation may have caused, and we hope this information is helpful. If you should have any additional questions or concerns, please contact Asset Acceptance directly. They would be happy to assist you.

Sincerely,

Consumer Relations Specialist
