No success with removing inquires.

I have sent in letters simultaneously to the creditor and the credit bureau disputing several inquires on my credit report that I did not authorize. I have received letters back from either the creditor or the credit bureau basically pointing the finger at each other. Any advise in getting these removed would be helpful.

How many inquiries did you dispute and how old are they ? People have reported getting fraud alerts added for disputing inquiries, and the points involved are usually minimal.

I got a handful of fraud alerts.

Plus if you didn't authorize them, its ID theft, and its pretty easy to take care of. Just file a police report.
