I know credit karma doesn't give you a "real" Fico score and I generally see it referred to "fako" on the forums. I did however think it gave you a general picture of your credit health without being totally accurate. However out of curiousity I paid for my TU fico score and my FICO with TU was 43 points higher then what credit karma was reporting!!! I thought to myself CK doesn't even give a "general" picture of my credit health. 43 points is a huge difference. I'm not sure what to think of credit karma and their score reporting now.
credit karma is good just for education
dont get me wrong but 650 is not a good credit
It only counts active accounts in your AAoA, among other different criteria. My CK score was over 100 points lower than my FICO04 score when I purchased my home.

Not sure if you're just trying to be a jerk, but 650 is pretty good when your coming from the 400's & low 500's. People don't just get to the "good" scores all of a sudden, it's a long process in alot of cases.
As far as CK, it's pretty much good for the free report.
Glad to see I wasn't the only one that thought this was a pretty unnecessary & snarky comment.
test
Yeah, that comment was unnecessary. I'd kill for a 650 credit score right now.

Rebuilding69 was probably meaning that when shooting for a "good credit score" was usually a goal of 700 or higher. Although that wasn't the question. I applaud anyone who has hit rock bottom credit wise and is seeking to improve their score. WIthout becoming easily discouraged, shooting for 650 is a good initial goal. Once you hit 650 after a lot of hard work, you can reset your score for another "credit healthy" rebuilding score.
As for CK vs TU, Equifax score power etc. They are all simply FAKO scores I've learned. I don't get caught up on the numbers as much as cleaning up errors, Good willing where I can, establishing new tradelines, keeping utilization low and paying in full and/or a timely manner.
Good luck with your credit goals and credit rebuilding.
