Now what?

Okay, So I had a BK7 back about 14 months ago that discharged.  Not long ago I started the repair process.  I had a few things I was able to clean off the report but... There are a few things on there still.  Next year things start falling off a few items a year.

So, I have disputed the items that needed to be disputed.

First thing I did was open a secured LOC with my credit union.  It was opened in an ammount that I could pay back over a year.

Next I opened the $500 secured card.  They said 2 years out I can apply to have that increased to an unsecured card.

Over the last few weeks I have been on an app spree for cards BUT I am done now.   As you can see in my signature I opened some good solid cash reward cards.  The Koles was so that we could get 30% off something (we shop there from time to time)  But...   I dont plan on any more store cards for a bit.

In addition just bought a new Car (I love you navy federal!).  And I have student loans reporting.

So my plan now is to sit on it and not apply for anything for a year or so (we are thinking a house).

My plan is to use each card (mabey not the koles) every month but pay in full.  I plan on letting one card report a small ballance but still pay in full.

What else can I do/should I do?

Re: Now what?

Is there any sort of usage stratagies that will invoke a CLI? :-)

Just keep the util down and don't max them out.  Other than that, I'm not aware of any.  CLIs are funny sometimes, never know when you're going to get them.   Or sometimes you just have to request them.
