To see the actual reported DoFD, pull your EQ report from annualcreditreport.com - its 100% free. The DoFD is the olny date that matters.

Re: OC Gone and new creditor

If a debt is delinquent when purchased by another, the purchaser is a debt collector under the statute.

Their reporting is considered a collection.

Jefferson Capitol is reporting as a debt collector, and the Open Date of their collection is the date they obtained the debt, not the open date of the OC account.

Was the account ever brought current after 2006?

Re: OC Gone and new creditor

No, sometimes I paid well and others passed me by 2 months 3, my credit limit was 1000 and ended in 2400 with the late fee and other charges. in 2010 the bank owner of this account is closed by FDIC for insolvence and the account move to other bank, but the account number change and name account. and 2 years later sell account a JEFERSON CAPYTAL SISTEM but with name of OC.
