OC reporting on credit - credit union charge off

So a credit union is reporting a charge off of an old bank account on my credit.  I sent a DV letter and have received no response.  What should I do?  If they do not respond, will the CRA's delete?

Thanks!

Re: OC reporting on credit - credit union charge off

DV letters are sent via the FDCPA and those only go to CAs. The OC doesn't have to respond. If you think you might disagree with the debt, then ask for the last few statements and reconcile that way. If you agree, then send a PFD. As always, keep an eye on SOL.
