I just did my weekly check on CreditKarma, saw a 3 point increase. I looked & noticed it said I had NO derogatories. The derogatory that had previously been reporting was Asset Acceptance. I have a complaint in to them through CFPB. The only answer I received from them so far was that they needed more time. I still have not received any further response, but I did pull my TransUnion here on MyFico &, indeed, Asset Acceptance is NO LONGER LISTED as a collection!!!!! I have been waiting so long for this! I haven't checked my other reports yet, but this is still such a relief.
Bad news is, my FICO per TransUnion report I just pulled is DOWN by 1 point. Could be due to small fluctuations in utilization or possibly an AAofA deal. I really expected a big jump when that came off. Nevertheless, I'm sure I will see a fairly quick rise from here. This was the most major baddie that was still reporting. I'm still in shock!
