OMG!!! NFCU Approval!

Happy dance happy dance! Just got the message to check the NFCU message center.... I kinda jumped the gun and applied last night for CashRewards Visa. I have been getting baddies removed and waiting for a PIF CC to hit cuz util was 83% but I lost patience....Approved for $10k! By far my largest limit, except for an AU Chase of my mom's. I had BK7 in 2009, a couple of CAs reporting and two Capone cards $750 CL. Very very happy! My scores are TU 643, EQ 601, and EX FAKO 689. Don't know why EQ is so low!

Did you have to be a member of NFCU with checking account to apply for a visa line of credit? 

Im trying to join right now because my brother was a member but he has to clear up his negative account with them before i can join

When I applied for my NFCU credit card, I only had a savings account. By the way, I was shocked too when they gave me a $5000 limit.  I was hoping for an approval, but didn't expect that high of a limit.   Since then I have added a checking account.
