Off the wall question

I had a auto loan with PNC Bank opened 11/2000 for 40 months. The account to my surprise (lol) was paid satisfactorily according to Experian. The account does not appear on EQ or TU.  Would it be wise  (or possible) to ask PNC to report the TL on those two bureau's being 9 years old. I'm thinking it will help my average age of accounts and show a possitive TL but not certain if its age will be worth the trouble.

Re: Off the wall question

You can request it, but I doubt they will do it.

Once reported, they assume legal responsibility under FRCA 623(b) for maintaining its accuracy.  Why maintain dead wood?

Additionally, if closed at 40 months from 2000, it has now been closed for approx. 8-9 years, and will soon be coming up against the CRA 10-year deletion window.

So its benefit would probably be short-lived.

Thanks Robert,

Just a thought and grabbing at straws.
