So I posted before about good will success with TMobile, and how they forgave my debt to them and removed it from my credit reports. Well, today, I came in town to my parents' home and I have a bill from Enhanced Recovery for the 198.16 that was forgiven by TMobile!! I don't have to pay it, right? Will they try to put it back on my report? Do I need to send a DV? I've come so far with that being gone!! Help please!
*i had actually sent a PFD letter to the EO, and they were gracious enough to remove it without me paying anything at all* (didn't know if this would change the way I should approach this issue)

No you dont pay it if the original debt was forgiven, call TM on Tues and let them know that their collector is trying to collect an item that they forgave.
How exactly did they "forgive" the debt?
Did they simply remove their credit reporting, sell the debt, or did they actually send a formal cancellation of the debt?
Did the debt collector, in their dunning notice, indicate that they are the owners of the debt?

This is what T-Mobile EO sent...
Thank you so much for providing me with the account number. I have located your previous FlexPay account with T-Mobile. I went over your charges, and it appears that the balance that ended up on your credit report was for an early termination fee. I would rather you have the opportunity to come back to T-Mobile and be a customer, so I have removed the balance from your account, and I sent a request to the credit reporting agency to withdraw the account from collections. It can take about 72 hours for the collection calls to stop, and it takes up to 90 days for the account to withdraw from your credit report.
If you would like to open new T-Mobile service with us, you can go to a T-Mobile retail store location, online to www.T-Mobile.com, or activate over the phone with us, after the 72 hours it takes to withdraw the account from collections. I'm excited for you to start your service with us, and experience all the great things that we have to offer!
Please feel free to reach out to me directly with any questions regarding the process of withdrawing your account from collections, or the process to start new service.

What I have from ERC states that my balance remains unpaid therefore my account has been placed with them for collection. This notice serves as notification that my delinquent account may be reported to the credit bureaus...
and that I have 30 days to dispute. The letter is dated April 27!
i suppose I should call and make ERC aware that I no longer have a balance with TMobile?

I would call them and tell them about this and request their fax number so you can send it to them.
ER most likely won't accept a copy of a letter by the OC from the consumer, but they will delete it if the OC notifies them. I sent them copies of statements and payments that Charter received from me almost a year before it ended up in ER's hands and their reply was still something along the lines of 'log into our website and pay this'.
Probably the fastest way to get it deleted from your report(s) is to have Tmobile contact ER to do it. I will tell you from experience that it was gone from my report the same day charter contacted them to delete it.
I decided to call this morning just in case debt collection does not take a holiday. I was able to speak to an agent, and I gave him my reference number. He gave me the debt collection spiel and pulled up my account. He told me that my debt had been recalled by TMobile and I had a zero balance. He apologized for their oversight in notifying me that I could disregard their bill
All is well.
