I also live in TX and have used this process very successfully. My suggestion wouls be to check the TX Sec. of State site to determine if the CA's have an active surety bond to collect in TX. If you haven;t already done so. If you haven't received a response after 30 days then file a complaint with the TX SOS office. They don't play when it comes to complaints. If your husband has an account on his report that belongs with someone with a similar name my suggestion would be call the CRA's and dispute it for that reason.  Best of luck to you.
