Ok sent the DV letter now what?

I have read all that I can about this old debt, it listed as new and it's from 2003, I sent them a DV letter today and have the green card coming back to me if I don't get a repley in 30 days, I send all copies of letter and proof of delivery to the 2 credit reporting agencies?

3 credit reporting agencies:

Experian

Equifax

Transunion

Got that where is a sample letter, also do I send it certified ? Are copies of RRR ok?

I do all my disputes directly with each CRA online, so I'm unsure of all your steps to do it your way.

Unless you live in Texas a CA is not required to ever respond to a DV letter. They only have to stop collection activity.

You are talking about Debt Validation correct? Not Debt Verification because those are 2 different things.

Well then as I said they are not required by law to ever answer a DV except to folks living in the great state of Texas.
