Very confused.
My husbad has an HSBC Bank account on his CR.
It's been charged-off. Purchased by another lender/transferred to another office. Last date reported 12/09/2010.
Honestly, we do not exactly who it was for either BigLots or possibly Walmart. It's a BigLots account.
It shows up no where else on his credit report. No collection account for it. I know during that time things were getting moved around and perhaps sold to CAP1 as one of the other cards did.. Est. fall off date is 2017, still a few years down the road. It's showing as a charge-off with nothing else reporting to show that this debt has been taken care of.
Does anyone have an idea who to go to locate this random account or is it not even worth it?
Since it's been sold off, I don't think HSBC could help me anymore? Could I GW with them? Any ideas would be apperciated, as I have been searching all over for this.
