Re: On my way or not a Chance?

They didn't prequalify me until my lowest scores increased to about 660ish. They suggest a card either way but the language is different when you actually prequalify. This is what I see now: Captain, we found a personalized offer for you–the Discover it® card. It used to come back with: Captain, does your credit card give you everything you deserve? So if you see the latter, don't start rejoicing yet. Hopefully you saw the first one though!

Re: On my way or not a Chance?

Happy friday kidn sir, I like the reply. It shows others there is true help and people who care.

Why have you not apped for Capital One as I suggested months ago??

I was unable to get approved at the time , so the course I took if I could remeber was

1. Secure Card OpekSky $200 , got a point increase

- then Cap one pre Qual , no dice , as I had a Cap one Neg on my report

2.  Think I opened up maybe 4 to 5 Tradlines with my own money around 3K

-the Cap one Pre Qual again , no Dice

Then I said screw it , time to dispute Cap once for removal.

Fast forward today , I think after my B of A card $3000 I just gave up on Cap One, even though they are now being deleted , well somthing happend Yesterday

+23 points , however no sure were it cam from .

"As fast as you scores have risen, if you had apped back in April/May"

I see what your saying , Cap One was a no go at the time and still was a no Go.

I am sure now I can get one, however with over 6K  in credit , 2 car loans and over 6 Months of on time payments spreading over 12 accounts

I have forzen all reports to avoid any more hard pulls.

Again , I follow what your saying however it wasnt the dry and cut, trust me I was on Cap everytime I jumped ins score.

What was their last denial reason? They usually send a letter and an email link to a PDF. Is there an inquiry from them on your reports for the last app?

FWIW, you shouldn't freeze reports when you are actively rebuilding, wait to do that when you're done. Otherwise you end up freezing/unfreezing every time you need to app.

Re: On my way or not a Chance?

Treat Navy Federal good. On your 3rd statement you can ask for an increase and you may get one.
