I need help. Here are the details
1. 1st CRA reported a collections, Date Opened 8/1/2008 for $230 cable bill
2. 2nd CRA list the same cable bill as collections, Date opened 8/1/2009 $231. Same cable bill
3. They list two different account numbers but they reference the same cable company.
4. They are listed on Both EX and EQ.
3. I called the 2nd CRA because i know that they will do a PFD(the 1st CRA listed won't-Past experience). So I paid the 2nd CRA. It should be deleted in a month.
My question is, what do I do about the 1st CRA that posted it to my credit report?
A. Do I dispute it now as a duplicate? Will this cause complications with the 2nd CRA deleting?
B. Do I wait and hope that the 2nd CRA will also knock out the 1st??
Shooting for 720 or higher!
