We had a credit card collection turn into a judgement, creditor sued and won. Anyway, we have the judgement listed under the judgement section and the original creditor (in the seperate trade line) keeps updating the account (that has been to court and won) with new dates and updated totals, I assume interest accruing. Can capital one keep updating their account listing even though they have won a judgement and a judgement is now listed?
Yes, the debt is still owed to them so it does not just go away. The judgement is a whole separate entity that is reported by the courts.
Oh...that sucks!
That it does my friend, but don't be discouraged, you've found an excellent forum to get yourself on the right track. You WILL have great credit but it will take some time and alot of work. Don't give up!
