Reached a very nice and cooperative staff at California Coast Credit Union today. They are accepting $35 on a $70 charge-off (mostly due to fees on an under $5 overdraft I was unaware of). They said they will remove this item from Chex System and my credit reports once they get the check. I stuck the check in the mail as soon as I got off the phone. They also promised to call me when they get it & do the credit report delete. Merry Christmas!

New Goal Score: 740+ for all three
