One point for a higher Balance??

Okay, if things could not get more confusing, I had a balance increase (from $8 to $41 on my $600 credit limit CC) and I got a 1 point increase in my credit score....  what in the world is going on here??? I don't think I will ever get this whole credit thing! lol

I have been trying to keep my utl at 0% or under 5%, is keeping something on your CC better than having a 0 balance?

Thanks!

Re: One point for a higher Balance??

Don't let more than half your cards report with any balances at all. The point increase could be due to other factors. Age that sort of thing.
