Orchard Bank/HSBC

Hello,

Previously, I had a Orchard Bank/HSBC card. The card was eventually charged off. I settled for less than the full balance in March 2009. It is scheduled to fall off of my report in December 2015. I would like to send GW letters for early removal. I'm just confused as to where I should send them. It's my understanding that HSBC was purchased by Capital One. Should I call or mail Capital One regarding the GW? Any direction is appreciated.

It shows differently btwn the CRAs. Equifax/Experian show it as HSBC. Transunion shows as Capital One. The Equifax & Experian reports do not provide an address or phone number for HSBC only for Capital One which is why I'm a little confused.

I would be confused too, I'd contact both.

My experian and equifax show it as capital one and I just got my reports abt 2 weeks ago. The address is the po box in Salt Lake City maybe you can send it there. I can pm u the address if u need it.
