HI,
I am recently discharged from chapter 7.
I had an hsbc card that was charged off and i did not include it because the collection agency that bought it got paid through a garnishment and payment agreement.
So know hsbc is reporting the chargeoff but it APPEARS current because it wasn't in bankruptcy but it is PAID.
What is the best solution to making it look best on credit report?
Should i just dispute it? Ask hsbc to remove it?
not that i need it but they are using this as a reason to deny me any of their products.
thanks for any advice

If reporting accurately, then I wouldn't dispute it.
You can always send a GW letter asking them to remove any lates and/or CO comments. If the DOFD on that card is approaching the 7-yr limit, then I wouldn't send anything. If this is your oldest account or one of them, then I'd also reconsider sending anything.
