That is a pretty amazing journey that you have had. I am really happy for you that you got everything turned around. It really is great hearing everyone share their credit experiences on this forum as well as their methods on how they overcame some problems clearing their reports. I believe I will be at 700+ myself once I finally get a FICO score for both revolving accounts on August 1st when they each have 6 months history. No prior credit history at all. My installment will be at 6 months on September 1st. I have just 1 item on Equifax/Experian that should be deleted within 30 days. I will have clean reports when I first qualify for a FICO score and I can't wait!
By the way; if they send you a letter for deletion you do not have to wait for it to come off if they sent in a letter to the CRA for manual removal (30-90 days) or sent an e-oscar request (30 days or less usually from my experience). You can send in a dispute letter with a copy of that letterhead they mailed to you and get it off of your report within 30 days. I haven't had a CRA reject deletion with a deletion letter yet.
Keep us updated on your progress! And congratulations!
CONGRATS to you on joining the 700+ Club!!! I'm looking forward to joining that club by early next year!
congrats
Wow - awesome job. I've gone from 600 to 701 in 6 months - 101 points.
Grats to your success OP
WTG Nice Job !!!
Congrats!!!
Great job!
To go from that many collection accounts to nothing is amazing work ethic. We all at one point made bad choices, to overcome is greater than never experiencing in my opinion. Now dont let your hard work go to waste stay on it!
