I agree that CAs would make boatloads on PFDs, but I read elsewhere that some CAs are contractually obligated with the CRAs not to remove collection accounts. CRAs apparently fear that removing paid collections would compromise the integrity of their reports to credit grantors, who would then not trust the reports and not buy them. And that would cut into the CRAs' bottom lines. Anyone else have any thoughts on whether this is true or not? Thanks.
Which 2 CA were you dealing with - I'm trying to work with Medical Business Bureau right now and hoping they will do the same.
I'm a bit confused. I thought CA's do not have the authority to delete? Only the OC's do? Am I mistaken? (Could be -- I'm new to this whole thing....)
