PFD Letter To Original Creditor

I have a charged off loan from a credit union on my credit report for $1600.00.They never sent it to a CA and it is past the SOL.I would like to send a PFD letter.So how much should I settle it for since it's the original creditor?And does anyone have a sample letter pertaining to the OC and not a CA.

You could use the one for the CA and change it to reflect the OC.  The request and end result should be the same.

Just a word of caution.  OCs are a lot less likely to accept a PFD settlement than a CA.   It never hurts to asks.
