I've typed up a new PFD and I'm hoping to get some feedback prior to sending it off. I opted not to use any "demanding" language since a PFD is an act of goodwill. I also opted to make it a little more informal than I've seen in the past. Thanks!

I recently received a copy of my Equifax credit report and observed a collection account from your agency in the amount of $XXX. It shows that the original creditor is XXX.
I formerly maintained an account with XXX, but terminated my service due to a lack of satisfaction and am unaware of any balance owed. Due to the time and cost of verifying the debt and possibly partaking in legal action, I would much rather settle this debt and resolve this matter in a more efficient manner.
I am aware that your company has the ability to report this debt to the credit bureaus, as you deem necessary. I am willing to pay this collection IN FULL in exchange for the removal of the collection account from the three credit reporting agencies, namely Equifax, TransUnion, and Experian, within ten (10) calendar days of payment.

Sounds very well written. One thing I might recommend is instead of paid in full since it's at collection pay 60-80% for them to remove it. Worse they can say is no but it may save you money.
Starting Score: EXP:575 EQ: 588 TU: 595I appreciate it. This collection is a relatively small amount, so I don't mind paying it in full. The difference is minimal, and I'd rather lessen the chance of them declining the offer altogether.
