PFD Question(timeframe)

I emailed a collection agency regarding a medical bill for $191. It was a PFD letter as the amount isn't that high. How long should I wait for a response?

30 days.   Here is what I recommend for medical debts

1. Call the OC and ask that they recall the collection in exchange for full payment
2. Send the reporting CA a PFD offer
3. Google the HIPAA Process and contact its creator for help

Why not simply pick up the phone and give them a call, opening up personal negotiation?

Having no requirment to ever respond, you may otherwise fret forever.
