I sent a PDF letter to Magnolia Federal Credit Union to settled a debt. It's due to fall off my TranUnion report 12/2013, thats the only one its reporting on. The response I got was "All credit bureau disputes must be initiated online. Once you have completed your dispute online, it will be forwarded to Magnolia Federal Credit Union's collection department for processing". My letter said nothing about a dispute. Does this sound like a dispute "This letter is in response to a credit report entry from TransUnion for the account referenced above. I would like to pay off or settle this debt and save both of our time and efforts." So do I send another letter? Any advice would be helpful. Thanks in advance.
