PFD Waiting period

How long do you wait on a PFD sent before you take other action? I sent one out a little over a week ago to LVNV/Resurgent. How long do I wait for a response?

Search for the thread with the info on the CompuCredit lawsuit.  You should be able to get this deleted from your credit report without a PFD

Did you send them a prior, timely DV?

If so, they are prevented from any activities related to collection on the debt, including negotiations on its payment.

Thus, if they are under a cease collection bar, a reply could be delayed until such time as they decide to first provide debt validation.
