Just wanted to share an FYI - I had nine, yes nine, collection entries on EX for parking tickets from a few years back that went to Alliance One for collections. I wrote them a GW letter last week and they wrote back via email letting me know they were deleting the TLs. Today they were gone!
Also, this weekend a collection popped up on all my reports from Stellar Recovery Inc for an old century link (Qwest) internet bill, which I never started service after recieving the box. At any rate, I wrote the compliance officer right away staying that I just want it to go away and if he can confirm he will delete the TL I will call and pay imiediately. He confirmed they would be deleted, so I payed in full and wrote him right after. He wrote me today with a letter staying they will be removed and attached the AUD.
So pretty good success!
