PFD or send GW letter? Collection for $43.34 NCO Financial, not on reports yet

I recieved a letter from NCO Financial saying I owed $43.34, but it hasn't shown up on my reports yets. I have no problem paying the amount but I don't want it to negatively affect my score. Why do i do if the person says they aren't authorized to PFD? Do I refuse to pay or pay and then send a GW letter?

Oh and would I get a better response asking my mail or email?

It isn't on your CR so a PFD wouldn't work.

I would just call and ask them if you pay it now will they not report.
