PFD vs. Pay?

Hi, all.

Wondering at what point my unanswered PFD requests should end and I should just pay the debt and switch over to GW letters after payment. Everything I'm working on is past SOL. For the past couple years, I send PFDs every month or so to the same couple companies. I don't receive responses declining the offers; instead they don't give me any response.

I sent out another set of letters this morning... It got me thinking about giving up on PFD and just paying these small debts and seeing where things go from there. Has anyone experienced something similar?

Bottom line is that they are in control.

Being unanswered as opposed to rejected, I would give them a call and step up negotiations to a personal level.

Its much more difficult for them to remain silent over the phone.

Thank you, Robert. In this world of emails and forums, I've grown to forget what it's like to actually talk to someone. Smiley Wink  I'll give it a try!

If you dont have luck, I personally had better luck with doing PIF followed by GW... I think I got like, maybe 3 PFDs? I got over 10 PIF followed by GW deletions..
