Re: PIF v. Settled for Less - Any Difference?

I have been trying for Months upon months to get FP  to PFD. I even offered triple the amount I owe and nothing.  They have in house collections so the CO never reports to your Bureau.  YMMV. I am sure it was killing your utilization as well as it is mine everyday.

I would do a PFD if that is even an option at this point and like expressed before I am surprised 1st premier did anything.

Yeah paying it for less than full amount but getting the status to say paid in full is about the best FP will do - now on to deal with Portfolio Recovery ASSociates!
