I had a $165 unpaid PSEG bill on all three credit reports. On two it shows as Assest Acceptance( collection) and one as PSEG. I paid PSEG the $165 as of today. Now do I have to contact PSEG to remove it from my credit report ot Assest Acceptance?
The total amount was paid to PSEG not Assest Acceptance. HELP![]()

You can ask PSEG and see if they will ask the CA to remove, but the OC has no control over deletion by a CA.
The only thing Asset Acceptance has to do is report the balance as $0..
You might have success convincing PSEG to ask CA to remove though, so give it a shot..
