I sent to certified checks today for 2 state tax liens. Next steps from what I was told that once they process the payoff they will notify the PA Prothonatary Office and send me a copy. Then I will recieve the letter and send it to each credit bureau for them to satify this on my credit reports.
I dont know if I can get this off my credit report entirely but mabee this is an option.
Thoughts anyone?
I contacted the Lien Department today and they recieved the payments I made. They are going to send me the originals and then I will send to each credit bureau. I dont know if this will have any impact on my credit score but sure hope so.
Will paid/satisfied PA State Liens raise my credit score?

Generally speaking, no. On manual review, the paid status would be better than unpaid but unless your state does withdrawals, the lien is still counted as a derog.
