Paid Collection Goodwill?

I have two account in collections. 1 is unpaid and I am attempting a PTD. The other is $67 from the electric company, reported 9/05 paid 3/06. I know this is a dumb question, but does anyone know if a GW letter will help to remove the paid item? Thank you!

I sent a collections agency a GW letter a couple weeks ago. It was for a paid item. They wrote back in less than a week and agreed to delete.
