Paid Collection Years ago. Now "PAID" Deleted

I paid a credit card collection in 2008 and it was listed as PAID on my transunion as of 2 months ago. I ran my credit just now and that line has been deleted and a new line has been added by LTD with the same account number. What do i do? Not sure i still have proof of payment.

Do you mean that they deleted the earlier reporting of their collection, and have just reinserted it?

What is inaccurate in their new reporting.... simply that it does not show as paid and closed?

If they previously updated the prior reporting to paid, that is evidence that they voluntarily reported as paid.

It used to say:
THD/CBNA then the account number and PAID zero balance.

That line was completely deleted and now says:
LTD Financial the same account number and a balance owed.

This is in the collection accounts section not the account information section. The account isn't listed there. Only in the collections.
