Well, it will have an affect in the sense, it "looks" better, but I am curious as to what it will do to the actual numerical scores. I need every point I can get. I thought I've read that sometimes paying an old collection can actually cost you points.

In my case, I'm not worried about it,bc this account was on my Experian report only, and it was my lowest score already. But I will let you know what kind of decrease it may cause in the score.
