I had a paid judgment (4 moths old) that I was trying to get removed. I paid it off and they never updated to satisfied so I disputed it hoping they would just remove it. Well they updated the status to Satisfied and I was banging my head on how to get it removed as I am most likely going to be stuck with it on my file for years. I then looked at the copy of the "Authority to Satisfy" paperwork I was sent and it states on the paper that the "record should be removed from all public records". So i used that as a dispute to the CRA's and the judgment has now been removed from all 3 CRA's.
I am hoping this will give me a nice bump in my score.
