SO....in May, I spoke with a doctor's office who apparently had a collection for $83.00. I had paid this amount over 2 years ago, so they called the collections company and apologized that it had not been removed. The collection company told me that it should come off of my EQ & EX within 3 months as they have pulled it back. Do I call the collections agency again or should I call EQ & EX?
You would need to contact the CA again and remind them that it was supposed to be removed.

SO, I just got off the phone with them and they told me any reports that I'm pulling online will not be correct and I have to call EQ & EX and get it from them direct. If that doesn't work I would have to dispute it and wait for them to send a dispute form. Does this sound right?
I don't know about the pulling any reports online thing not being correct. I will agree that that the reports from 3rd parties aren't formatted the same sometimes, but they should show the deletion.
Was it referred for collection before or after the debt was paid?

It was referred before it was paid. The amount was apparently declined by insurance.
