Just paid off 3 accounts equaling 1600 dollars. now my question should I close these account or let them be and not use them. im hoping this will boost my CS a few points before we apply for our mortgage.i worked so hard on my wifes credit (bekki2302) I neglected mine.

Nice work paying off your accounts!
After you read Marine's link and make a decision on whether or not to close the accounts, remember to use credit cards if you'd like to keep them open.
Credit cards that aren't used regularly are likely to suffer Adverse Action - that is, closing or credit limit decreases.
