I paid off an NJ tax lien today. They gave me a letter confirming the payment indicating they would file with the Superior Court of NJ. They also say they do not report to any CRA's. Do I need to contact each of the CRA's to provide the letter? Has anyone dealt with this before?
Also - should I expect a credit score increase?
Thanks in advance
For this to come off your CR they need to be withdrawn not just released. If the paper that you got indicates they were withdrawn, canceled, vacated or some other word meaning this then you can send that to the CRAs asking for removal of the lien.
