How do judgements work? I had a judgement from Cap1, I paid them in full recently.. will the balance with Cap1 update on my CR as well or just the judgement entry ?
Thanks

Was Cap1 the plantiff in the lawsuit/judgement ? If so then I would expect them to update the original account balance.
Not sure about the judgement, it may take longer for it to reflect being satisfied. Is there any chance that you can get them to file a motion to vacate the judgement ? This would allow it to be removed from your credit reports, which should help your FICO score.

I guess I should clarify, I paid the Attorney/Collections Agency in full. Yes Cap1 was the plaintiff.
I will look into trying a vacate. Thanks for the info.
