Patience is a most important ingredient

I'm currently in a holding pattern, waiting for disputes and HIPAA letters to settle, waiting for the IRS lien to be removed, waiting for my paid off CCs to reflect the new balances, waiting for Jan to finish consolidating my student loans (then getting the payments set up so their repayment amount is right when it's time to app for the mortgage), waiting for the last round of GW letters to hit...

Lots of waiting.  For a very impatient person, it's certainly been a valuable (albeit painful) lesson!  There are no quick-fixes in solid credit repair.

Current Score: EQ 664 TU 700 EX 701 (FAKO)

According to a recent study from the Federal Reserve's research center for Behavioral Economics:  "Impatient people are more likely to default on a credit card or mortgage obligation".  Patience is a Virtue!

My credit journey has completed. I am currently sitting at 800+ across the board.

I started my journey here years ago, and thanks to MyFico, it really is possible.
