I've had PFD's work and I've had some that didn't. The ones that didn't, I paid anyways and then went to work on GW'ing the accounts with success. Not only did I take care of the debt to make sure it wouldn't come back to haunt me later, I got them deleted or updated in my favor. I think we get so hung up on if you want your money you better delete. I see posts all the time where people say they're not going to pay them unless they delete. I get it. CA's are scum (that's the generalization anyways). Fortunately, any CA I've had to deal with has been very pleasant to work with. They agreed to PFD or didn't then I paid them and GW'd them. From the posts here, GW's seem to have a higher success rate than PFD's. Perhaps that's because the debt is paid without asking for something in return. GW on the debtors part.
