Pay for delete advice

I only have 2 baddies to handle and they are 2 years well within SOL and I plan on calling to pay full amount for deletion but wondering about the likelihood of them refusing and trying to sue me instead both are about $700 each and I want to clear them up so I can let my cards age and hopefully get fab loan by wintertime.

Re: Pay for delete advice

just be prepared to settle with them if they won't agree and decide to sue you.

Re: Pay for delete advice

So should I ask for DV first then pay for delete or should I ask for pay for delete right upfront?

Re: Pay for delete advice

Always ask for a Debt validation first and then if they validate the debt then do PFD.. They may not beable to validate the debt.

Re: Pay for delete advice

DV. But if it wasn't sent in a timely matter then they don't have to respond. Anyways try DV first

Re: Pay for delete advice

I'd vote for a physical letter to them. If you can, ask a representative for an address or name of a supervisor and send it RE: My conversation w/ XXXX. The whole postal service way lends iteself to less urgency, vs. calling which makes it seem like an urgent matter and you are desperate, and therefore they can hold strong on their $$$ amount and not negotiate
