Pay for delete letter (response)

Long story short, I sent a pay for delete letter to I believe DEBT Recovery Solutions. I received a letter back promptly, stating that if the balance was paid in full the account  "should" be deleted from all CRA's.

What should I do? I do not feel comfortable with their wording at all.  The account is only $326, however I would hate to pay it and nothing happen.

That wording does seem a little shady IMO. I would get something in writing with a more definite promise for deletion upon payment.

I had sucess with a pfd with debt recovery solutions earlier this year. They will delete after full payment
