So I have one medical collection from 2009 thats $101. I sent a PFD last month and they finally got back to me saying no, that they will only mark as PIF. My question is, should I just go ahead and pay it off, assuming that a paid collection looks better than an open and unpaid collection on applications anyway? What kind of impact should I see in my scores as well? Thanks
