Paying off current Judgement

Anyone have any luck settling a current judgement for less than owed? I just sent an e-mail to the current owner of the debt (it has changes several times) asking if they have a settlement amount. This was froma charge off from 6 years ago so it's about to disappear from my CR

A judgment will not fall off in 6-7 years. If unpaid it can also be renewed.
