My husband and I are finally on our way to a debt free life. We have been living within our monthly budget and paying things on time and not buying things that we don't need. We have both filed our taxes and are expecting a big refund. We have planned to use 80% to pay off collectors and credit cards. We ran both of our reports and list everyone out that we owe and are super excited to get it over with.
The good thing is that we don't have too many accounts in collection but the sad part is that it adds up.
We plan on working with the original creditors first and getting the debts deleted completely. Any advice on how to handle this?
