Piggybacking for credit increase

My credit score is 645 and I keep getting denied because of short line of credit, so I was wondering if I became an AU on my grandmother's Card which is over 10 years old and she has a credit score of 800 and everything in perfect standing, so would it report on my Credit report that I have an account 10 years old , so I would be able to get this loan

What exactly are you applying for?  Do you have any open credit cards or loans in your name currently?  We need a little bit more of information about your situation.
