How do I find out who owns it? Call them? I believe they are 2 years old all the same time

You can find out who owns the debt by looking at your credit report.  The tradeline with the balance is usually the company that owns the debt.  For instance if the Credit One tradeline shows a 0 balance and Midland shows $677 then Midlands owns it.

If they both show a balance the OC owns it and assigned it to Midland.

It is always better to call and find out.  CR are not always correct.
